Seasons Devotional Booklet

Created during my time on staff at Mariners Church in the early 2000s, Seasons was a year-long devotional booklet distributed to the congregation for 2004 — guiding readers through a study of the New Testament organized around the four seasons of the year.

The written content was authored by Susan Garland, and my role was to give those words a fitting home. I typeset the entire booklet and shot all of the interior photography myself — nature images organized by season, letting the visual rhythm of the year mirror the journey through the text.

It's an early piece, but one that reflects something that has stayed consistent throughout my career: the belief that good design serves its content quietly, creating the right conditions for the work to land.
