Hope for Huruma Foundation supports Huruma Children's Home in Kenya, providing food, shelter, medical care, and education to children who need it most. When they came to me around 2020, they had an outdated site that wasn't keeping pace with how their organization had grown — and they needed something that could clearly communicate their mission, inspire giving, and support multiple ways to get involved.

Working with branding created by Liz Taylor Creative, I built the updated site in Squarespace — organizing a fairly complex range of pathways for visitors: child sponsorship, one-time and recurring giving, volunteering, visiting Huruma in person, and supporting missionaries on the ground. The distinctive fingerprint icon system from Liz's branding became the visual anchor for communicating the four pillars of impact: food, care, shelter, and education.

The goal was a site that felt worthy of the mission — warm, trustworthy, and easy to navigate for donors and supporters at any level of involvement.
